It turned out way better than I thought
I love how you get crazy with the scenarios you can play along with it and the parameters or you can change it up a little bit like make yourself extremely powerful, five out of five all the way
Build story worlds, then turn them into comics and videos

Saylo is a story app from X Original, a Hong Kong company. You create characters with their own look, voice, personality and background, build a world around them, and steer the plot with every choice. Saylo keeps track of key story details, such as characters, places, major events and items, so a story can pick up where it left off, and you can add details yourself. Finished plots can become Visual Stories with chapters and artwork, plot videos or comics, and you can publish them on Clips, its sharing feed. In Party Mode, several people and characters join one story room. You can also choose between AI models and writing styles. Its App Store screenshots show the character feed, a story chat, the character creator, Visual Stories and Party Mode.
Reviewers who like it say it is easy to start, you can chat without tokens, and ads are bearable or can be removed. The complaints are louder and more recent: since June 2026 many long-time reviewers say a stricter filter changed their stories, some say saved stories or persona edits disappeared, and others say characters forget what happened or start talking to each other instead of you. Its rating is lower than most roleplay apps. Saylo has been on the App Store since May 2024 and is rated 18+.
Saylo suits adults who see roleplay as making something, and want to turn their stories into comics, videos or chapters to share, or to play one story with friends.
If you want a companion for everyday chats rather than a story tool, or a filter that has stayed the same, read the recent complaints first. Soulplay, Moescape or Duple may suit you better.
Described by Saylo on its App Store listing and shown in its App Store screenshots. Not our hands-on test. Rated 18+ on its App Store listing; also on Android.

Hi! This is the most immersive ai chat I have downloaded so far and the only thing I see lacking that all the other ai chats carry is multiple personas you can alternate between. The one persona makes it more difficult and have to constantly switch the information manually. I think besides that it’s a good app overall.
Honestly, it’s great. There’s no paywalls you don’t have to have tokens or anything to talk and the worst you deal with is like a minute and a half two minute ad every few hours if you spend that long on here.
It’s fun and funny to mess with the bots. … There’s some ads but it’s not overbearing or a blocker for any features. You can just pay to remove ads if you want.
I’ve been using this app after emochi went out and I became attached no annoying ads every 30 seconds actual fun and the fact you can save your persona is perfect ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I use to enjoy long conversations, turning stories up or down with created characters. It was unfiltered just 6+ months ago. … Now the story goes all crazy and the cause is your bs language filter.
Memory entrees feel almost pointless. Forgets things after a few prompts, misunderstands basic english, output has grammar, spelling or spacing errors.
The characters seem to have developed Alzheimer’s, they literally forget who you are or what happened two minutes ago. Then you get ridiculously long dumps of text where the characters start having entire conversations with each other, completely excluding you.
when your adds pop up it says in big bold letters ‘1h Free No Ads’ so like anyone would you watch them. But then you’re watching more ads in as little as 5 minutes.
This used to be my favorite AI chat app but their recent updates killed it. I can’t even update my character persona anymore and like 90% of the stories I had saved are gone now so I stopped subscribing.
“I downloaded on my new and old phone they both get stuck on the open screen”
