My opinion
It’s a great app and I love talking to the Ai character it’s fun and spicy and the Ai character is witty and funny.
What Prelulu is like
Prelulu is an AI character app from TheInfluence Inc. that's built around the live call. You find a character, such as a brooding CEO, fae royalty, an idol or a vampire, trade messages and roleplay, then tap to call them. Voice calls use the character's own voice, and video calls show an animated avatar with expressions that react as you talk. You can cut in mid-sentence, and your camera stays off unless you turn it on. You can also design your own character's look, voice and backstory, share a photo in chat and save moments to revisit. It runs on the web, iPhone and Android, and the site comes in 27 languages. The screenshots here are from its App Store listing.
It's new, so there isn't much feedback yet. Its one written App Store review calls the character witty and funny but mentions a few slips, like a memory showing up in the wrong language and a repeated message. Prelulu itself says not every character has video, calls run up to 30 minutes, and chat memory and call memory are kept separate except for a shared pinned note. It's rated 17+ on both stores and pitched at romance and companionship rather than adult content.
Who it’s for
Prelulu suits adults who want to hear and see an AI character, not just text with one, and like picking from a big cast of romance characters.
If you'd rather have one companion you design and keep long term, Duple, Kindroid or Nomi may suit you better. If you want a huge community library, try Character.AI or Talkie.
