What Muah AI is like
Muah AI is an 18+ companion that runs in your browser. You start from a preset or build your own character in a settings panel split into parts: the name, a core prompt for personality and setting, a look-like description that shapes photos, a voice and a photo style. That way you can change one thing without rewriting the rest. From the chatroom you can text, try voice replies, generate photos and video, and open a live call if your plan has it. A demo runs in the browser before you sign in, and there is a Discord.
Muah says each feature has its own access rules and limits, so check the plan in the app before upgrading. On r/MuahAI in October 2026, some people posted that the site was stuck loading and asked whether the service was still active.
Who it’s for
Muah suits adults who want to shape one character in detail and mix text, voice, photos and video.
If you want a polished iPhone app, Duple lets you design companions and get selfies, but has no live voice. For live voice, Sesame or Kindroid are worth a look.
What you can do
- Try a demo in the browser first

Described on the Muah AI website and shown in our screenshots of it. Not our hands-on test. For adults 18+.
