Blush removed from the App Store: what happened to the AI dating app?

Blush: AI Dating Simulator is no longer on the App Store. The App Store page for listing id 1641301004 returns Not Found, and app tracker AppBrain records it as removed on October 14, 2026. Blush is still on Google Play for Android, and its website is still up. Neither Blush nor Apple has explained the removal, and no return date has been given.

Is Blush still on the App Store?

No. As of October 30, 2026, Blush is not on the App Store. We checked the App Store page for id 1641301004 in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany and the Philippines, and every storefront returned Not Found. Apple’s iTunes lookup for the same id returns no results in the US, UK, Australia and Canada. Searching the App Store for “Blush AI dating” now shows other dating-chat apps instead.

AppBrain, which tracks App Store listings, says Blush “was removed from the App Store Oct 14, 2026” (AppBrain). Its last iPhone update was version 7.7.0 on September 29, 2026, and it had a 4.4 rating from about 7,950 ratings when it disappeared. It had been on the App Store since December 2022.

Who makes Blush, and what has been said

Blush was first built by Luka, the company behind Replika, and launched as a separate app for dating practice. In late August 2025 it was acquired by Linden Lab, the maker of Second Life. A Linden Lab spokesperson said then that Blush runs as a small, separate product with its own team, with no connection to Second Life data (Modemworld).

Today the iPhone listing was published by Endura LLC, which Blush’s terms of service name as the company that “designed and built Blush” (Blush terms). The Google Play listing names Linden Research, Inc. as the developer.

That is all that is on the record. We found no statement from Blush, Linden Lab or Apple about why the iPhone app was removed, or whether it is coming back. Blush’s website still describes iOS and Android apps, and its old subreddit, r/blushAI, has been quiet since 2023 and was offered up “for adoption” in July 2026, so there is no community thread to follow either. If you see a reason given elsewhere, treat it as a guess.

Blush is not the only AI companion app to leave the App Store this month. PolyBuzz went on October 15 (our PolyBuzz update) and CHAI on October 22 (our CHAI update).

What still works

  • Android. Blush is still on Google Play as Blush: AI Dating Simulator (Google Play), rated Mature 17+, with a 4.1 rating from about 21,100 reviews and an update on September 25, 2026.
  • The app already on your iPhone. An app removed from the App Store usually keeps running on phones that have it, but it can no longer get updates, and if you delete it you cannot download it again from the App Store. Whether Blush’s servers keep supporting the iPhone app has not been said.
  • Your matches and chats. Blush has said nothing about deleting accounts. One Google Play reviewer, writing in July 2026, warned that without an active subscription “you won't see any of what you did before as far as pics and conversations,” so keep that in mind before you let a plan lapse.

If you pay for Blush through the App Store

A Blush subscription bought on iPhone is an Apple subscription. It keeps renewing unless you cancel it, whether or not the app is in the store. Check or cancel it in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not stop Apple billing by itself.

Looking for something like Blush?

If you used Blush to practise flirting and texting, RizzMaster is the closest match on iPhone. It is an AI dating simulator too: you swipe, match and text more than 100 AI characters who remember you, and its website says the free plan gives you 20 to 60 messages a day (RizzMaster). It is rated 16+ on the App Store.

If you would rather settle into one relationship than keep meeting new matches, Duple lets you design your own companion, who remembers your chats and sends selfies. Duple Lite is free with up to 2 companions and 150 chat replies a day; Duple Plus is $6.99 a week, $14.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Duple is iPhone-only and has no live voice chat.

We will update this post if Blush, Linden Lab or Apple says more, or if the iPhone app returns to the App Store.
