A closer look at vu.
vu: AI Companion with Soul, from VuDream LLC, launched on the App Store in July 2026. You choose a character or create one with a name, background, appearance and voice, then tell them about your day by text or on a voice call. Past chats and saved memories give later conversations context, and a journal keeps your shared moments. Companions exchange photos and post updates you can browse, you can step into their 3D room, and you can start a group chat with several characters. You can set replies to be brief, descriptive or a mix. Free to download; vu Pro, vu Ultra, credits and voice or video-call minutes are sold in-app. On iPhone, Android and the web; rated 17+ on the App Store.
