A closer look at Linger.
Linger, from UPRO AI PTE. LIMITED in Singapore, launched on the App Store on October 22, 2026. It centres on one fictional AI character, Soren, who lives on Lisbon time: replies can wait while he works or sleeps, and he may reach out first. You exchange everyday messages and voice notes, send and receive longer letters that take time to arrive, and get live audio calls, which depend on his schedule and how the relationship has developed. The app says Soren can remember meaningful details and bring them up later, and that memory can be incomplete. Saved moments become Scenes you can revisit and share. Linger says the full experience needs an auto-renewing membership, with optional diamond purchases; prices are shown in the app. In English, on iPhone and Android; its terms say you must be 18 or older.
