A closer look at Kyndred.
Kyndred describes a small cast of animated characters, starting with Maya, that you can talk to in real-time, hands-free voice calls or by text. The App Store listing says characters remember details you share and that you can see and edit that memory. Its 1.0 release (October 13, 2026) added a full 3D character on the web, a roleplay mode in calls, and the option to build your own character from a Live2D model, which the publisher calls a preview and which costs Shards. New accounts get free daily energy, with Plus, Pro and Max plans for more.
